Ocean Surf Trailer Park is located at Parlee Beach in the town of Shediac. The Acadian Coastal Drive travels 477 km (298 mi) from Aulac to Campbellton along the Northumberland Strait and Chaleur Bay boasting the warmest saltwater beaches north of Virginia.Ocean Surf was day 2 and 3 of our 1998 Atlantic Canada Vacation and we camped on site M2. Ocean Surf is approx 1100 km (690 mi) from our home. It is open from May 1st to Oct 15th and has 350 fully serviced sites most of which are seasonal.
Although the beach was nearby we didn't go as dogs were banned due to a just recently passed by-law. Our two days there were spent sightseeing from Cap Pele to St Louis de Kent.
Shediac's population goes from 4,600 in the winter to over 24,000 in the summer. Its a great tourist area with plenty to do for everyone,including a lobster festival in early July,the world's largest lobster,cycling trails and a marina.
